OVERVIEW
This tour starts and ends in Nairobi. It will cover both wildlife and geographic destinations like Great Rift Valley. It’s one of the best tour packages. You will explore the Masai Mara National Reserve for a first class game viewing experience of the great wildebeest migration During the months of July and October. It also visits Lake Naivasha a fresh water lake where you take a boat ride to view the Hippos.

ITINERARY
Day 1: Nairobi/ Masai Mara
Arrive JKIA, you will be met by our representative and briefed on the safari. Depart Nairobi for a journey south along the floor of the great Rift Valley then past Narok climb the western wall entering Hemingway’s country ”Serengeti plans”. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon enjoy a game drive in this famous reserve.
Dinner and overnight at the Camp

Day 2 & 3: Masai Mara
Early morning balloon safari is available as an option at USD 450 per person. The Balloon launches at 0600hrs and takes one hour. On landing you will be welcomed with a champagne bush breakfast.
Full day game viewing whereby you leave the camp with picnic lunch. The Mara is the land of African legend: Lion are abundant throughout the park, as are the elephants, giraffes, and a variety of gazelle species and zebra. Cheetah and leopard are also regularly seen and, less commonly, rhino. The annual wildebeest migration, one of nature’s few remaining wildlife spectacles, occurs in the Mara from July to September where the big animals and their predators are to be present in abundance during the time frame of this trip. Several species of Bee-Eater, the flying rainbow that heads the list of the Mara’s birds, occur in the reserve. As well as wildlife, the Maasai Mara is also home to many members of the colorful Maasai tribe who may be seen around the borders of the park – Morans (warriors) loping across the plains, young boys herding goats, or elders grouped under a tree discussing matters of the
day. Dinner and overnight at the Camp/lodge.

Day 4: Mara – Naivasha
Early morning game drive. Breakfast at the lodge/camp. Depart for Lake Naivasha with stop at Narok which is the Masai city. Arrive Naivasha in time for lunch.
Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus is almost 13 km’s across, but its waters are shallow with an average depth of five metres. The waters of the lake draw a great range of game to these shores. Giraffes wander among the acacia, Buffalo wallow in the swamps and Colobus monkeys call from the treetops while the Lakes large hippo populations sleep the day out in the shallows. Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon you proceed for a boat ride to view the hippos. The rest of the evening leisure. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5: Nairobi
Leisurely breakfast at the lodge. Later depart for Nairobi, stopping along the escarpment curio shops to buy some souvenirs before heading to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon.
Drop off at the airport for onward flight.
